HEALTH FIRST

As I had written earlier, I had two doctor appointments: cardiologist and gastroenterologist. And both doctors gave me diagnoses that made me a little worried. I am hypertensive and I have gastritis. And if I don't treat it, I can have a stroke, heart attack and ulcer.

And I decided to follow the medical recommendations, because what's the point of seeking financial freedom, if when I get it I won't be healthy?

I completely changed my diet. I'm eating healthier foods and drinking very little alcohol (one can of beer a week). I started exercising more often. I'm running five kilometers a day and I still go to the gym Monday through Friday.

I hope I can keep this new me. A few months ago I had tried to cut down on alcohol and exercise more before, but it always ended up sabotaging myself.

But I feel that now it will be different, because the medical diagnosis has given me a shock: either I do what I have to do now, or I will pay a heavy price in the future.

It's time to act.
